Long, Florence T. (Whitney), - 95, of Mays Landing, formally of Galloway, passed away on April 21, 2024, at AtlanticCare Regional Medical Center-Mainland Campus. She was born in Havertown, PA, a daughter of the late Harry B. Sr. and Dorothy (Lyons) Whitney. She was a homemaker and worked for the Galloway ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ schools as a cafeteria server. Florence was incredibly loving, generous, and full of laughter. She loved watching the Phillies and going out to eat. She was known as Mom to all. Her best times were spent with her family, which she considered to be her greatest blessings. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard W. Long; infant daughter, Patricia Ann; youngest son, Robert B.; her twin sister, Kathyrn Mitchell; sisters, Nancy Rutter, Dorothy Scott, Dolores Talley; and brother, Harry Whitney. Florence is survived by her sons, Leonard Long (Debra), Stephen Long (Edna); daughters, Kathleen Friedel (Andy) and Jacqueline Long; her five grandchildren, Lenny Jr. (Denise), Wesley (Gladys), Meghan (Adam), Mitchell (Erica), and Stevie Jr.; and great-grandmother to Cassidy, Bren, Camila, Vance, Phoebe, Violet, and Everett.
